June first friday show:

Dyllie Dally Super Gallery

Friday, June 6, 2025
6 pm – 9 pm

@ The Fábrica, 703 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA

The June 6th First Friday art show will feature costumes and performance documentation from artist Dylan Seidel’s drag alter ego, Dyllie Dally.

“Each costume carries a memory of the drag performances I have worn them for. As they lay before you…, you are witnessing them incomplete. I like to think of Dyllie Dally as the puppet (the look), the puppet maker (the artist who put the work together) and the puppeteer (the body that moves and creates the performance).”

Recent Events:

Free Museum Day!

We’ve done a few off-site events recently. A few weeks ago we had a booth at the Museum of Natural History’s “Free Museum Day” event. It was a very hot day, but we had a lovely time in the shade at Tyrell Park with a big crowd of other local artists and food vendors.

Thanks to everyone who came through to buy monsters or t-shirts or just to say hi! We met quite a few new people who hadn’t heard of the Fábrica before! We hope to see y’all again soon!

Thanks to the Museum of Natural History for having us!

May Day with Little Giant

We had an awesome time printing pennants for May Day with our comrades at Little Giant Collective!

Some of this year’s prints were based on the slogan “Bread for all, and roses too,” a popular slogan of the early 20th century labor movement in the United States.

We highly recommend that you follow and attend events at LGC. They host printmaking workshops, Frist Friday art shows, monthly Mahjong Club, and more!
